Eger — Castle Tales & Cellar Trails
A castle town with a very good excuse for a wine stop.
Eger mixes big castle stories with small baroque streets. We explore Dobó Square, pick a castle visit or more old-town wandering, then head towards the Valley of the Beautiful Women for an optional cellar stop. Around eight hours including Budapest hotel transfers. Wine tasting and castle tickets are extra, so you choose how the day unfolds.
